SEBASTIAN BAUSCH & LAURA GRANERO, fortepiano four hands & two-fortepiano-duo

One of the few duos to play on period instruments basing their interpretations on their research on 19th century playing. They share their passion for German 19th century music (particularly those of the so-called conservatives – Robert & Clara Schumann, Johannes Brahms, Carl Reinecke, Felix & Fanny Mendelssohn…), as well as their passion for early recordings, piano rolls and fortepianos. They collaborate closely as part of the Early Recordings Research Group, sponsored by La Nouvelle Athènes. They have performed in France (Salle Cortot), Spain and Switzerland.
